Best Love appears to be upending the traditional rom-com love development. Rather than have the angst be about the couple not knowing or denying their feelings for each other, here all the feelings are pretty much laid out in the open, but we’re getting boatloads of angst that is going to hurt so bad. I’m so invested in this drama it’s not even funny. What’s worse is knowing that even if the OTP gets together, there is still an entire world of people wanting to break them up. This is not good for my sanity.

Witnessing the comforting scene between Ae Jung and Pil Joo, Jin grips the potato tightly in his hand as if to destroy it, his strong pride ignited and he turns his back. Jin despondently uses the potatoes Ae Jung brought over to make curry rice and Ae Jung looks at the lie detector toy from Jin, the barriers growing between them.

Thanks Koala! I just got hooked on this series, watched ep 1-6 over the weekend. I must say that it’s really hard to choose between Team Dokko and Team Pil Joo. For the first time, the second male lead comes out strong. I can’t help but want them both for Ae Jung. Dokko reminds me of Hwang Tae Kyung at times 😛
I know! This is the first time I’ve had a serious crush on a Hong sisters second lead. Even though Cha Seung Won is 15 kinds of awesome as Dokko Jin, Pil Joo is neck and neck in the race.

It’s a hard choice. Till now, I do not know who to support. Dokko Jin or Pil-Joo? I usually support the main lead in hong sisters drama cos second lead is not that strong. This time round, second male lead really acts so well n I am attracted by his charm too.

I had promised myself that I would finish the other kdramas not to mention DTLY before watching BL but your really makin’ it hard for me Koala with all this wonderful recaps you keep giving us that I decided to watch just the first episode for my curiosity….but….*eyes koala(look what you made me do)**o___o* Well my one episodes turned into all six episodes….wahhhh now I have one more kdrama added to my list of I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT episodes…Arggh I’m officially an addict!!

no matter how cute Dr. Pil Joo, I still want Jin to be with Ae Jung, I think they will complete each other, Ae Jung certainly can teach Jin to be a better person and Jin can teach Ae jung to be able to stand up for herself bring her selfesteem back again..
