The written and video previews for episode 15 of Spy Myung Wol actually interests me, because it appears the story is making significant headway in plot. Rather than repeat the he loves me-he loves me not carousel of angst that has been dragging for the last 8(!) episodes, if the final few episodes have a united in love Kang Woo and Myung Wol fighting to survive and be free, it might just wrap up this drama nicely. And please for the love of my sanity, let Kang Woo keep this hairstyle, because it’s the nicest one he’s sported since this drama began.
Written preview for episode 15:
Kang Woo and Choi Ryu fall into Chairman Yoo’s trap. Choi Ryu reveals to Kang Woo that Chairman Yoo is the Goblin. After getting hold of the real Four Book, Chairman Yoo orders that Choi Ryu and Kang Woo be eliminated. Myung Wol dramatically rescues Choi Ryu and Kang Woo from the clutches of Chairman Yoo.
Kang Woo finds out from Choi Ryu how Myung Wol really feels about him, but is hurt to see the change in her attitude towards him. Even though Myung Wol knows Kang Woo’s real feelings for her, she struggling because of the precarious situation surrounding them. Choi Ryu has made all the preparations for returning to North Korea. He makes plans to meet Ok Soon, Hee Bok, Myung Wol, and Kang Woo at the airport.

Thanks Koala for this. I appreciate your posts for this drama even though the drama itself isn’t really that interesting at all. At first I admit I’m a fan of this drama but after several push & pull and terrible events happening within the story, I lost my interest in it. :/
I’d still probably check out how this thing ends for the sake of seeing it since I’ve made it this far already.
How many episodes are there going to be? 18? And here I thought it’s going to be the final week. Looks like she’ll return to NoKor after all. Or not.. And looks like I’ll forever be tearing my hair apart just wanting this to be finished so I can move on. Thanks for this preview! 🙂
18. They will broadcast ep 17 and 18 back to back (2hr finale) on Sep 6th I believe.

Thanks Ms. Koala! My interest in SMW has been flagging dramatically as of the past few weeks, but this looks like actual plot development (All hail Plot Development!). I think there’s one smart writer out of the six and he keeps getting sat on by the other old farts, but perseveres through it to produce the occasional hilarity or goodness. Fighting, chakka-nim!

I actually wont mind in ah liking ryu after all her disappointments and heartache from kang woo, at least ryu won’t be left behind all alone in the end.
