Sleepless Fashion with Vic Zhou and Vivian Hsu Gears Up for October Premiere (16 comments)

Vic Zhou is currently in Beijing filming the period movie Saving General Yang, but his completed modern C-movie Sleepless Fashion (formerly known as Live with Fashion) is about to premiere later this month. Co-starring Vivian Hsu and Alan Tam, the movie is about an idealistic fashion magazine editor played by Zai Zai who incurs the wrath of his boss played by Alan and thus gets set up and sacked. He gathers together a motley crew of fashion industry outliers and rejects to pursue his own fashion dreams.

The trailer looks interesting and fun, and definitely confirms this is a quirky underdog story. My Zai Zai looks dapper, albeit still much too thin. I wasn’t terribly keen on this movie when it was announced, but after watching the trailer, I’m pleasantly surprised with how it actually looks entertaining. Yay for exceeding expectations! Have a look at the trailer and stills below.

I’ll watch out for this. Btw, where can I buy (on the net) English-subbed Taiwanese dramas and movies? I’d really like to get a copy of some Taiwanese dramas but there’s no place to download them from.

Vic is alarmingly thin! He’s been working so hard all these years that I hoped he would also take a vacation and gain some weight. I’ve watched his drama Love Storm with Vivian Hsu and Ken Zhu many years ago so this is their second time pairing. Looking forward to watch this movie.
