There was no preview for episode 20 at the end of last week’s episode 19 of Office Girls, which left me totally chafing at the bit. I take OG for granted, but the second something is gone, I feel bereft. Such is the strength of my affection for it. The previews are finally out, and it looks like a doozy. Mama Shen is sick again (no surprise), Kai Er is still the biggest witch this side of the West, and Zi Qi’s mom is finally going to take action to get rid of the girl she thinks isn’t good enough for her precious son. Regardless of the fact that her son loves Xing Ren to pieces. Bring on the angst, drama! I am so ready for this Sunday.
A picture ignites a maelstrom! Zi Qi’s dinner with Kai Er has been snapped by Le Le. The always trusting Xing Ren is furious at Zi Qi. What did Zi Qi say that made Xing Ren so angry? Kai Er is displeased with what Le Le said to her and she picks an opportunity to backstab Le Le. The straightforward Le Le ends up upsetting Zi Qi’s mom. Will Le Le’s professional life be filled with new challenges? Mama Shen has collapsed again. The sky high medical bills leave Xing Ren unable to breathe. Zi Qi hurts for Xing Ren so he goes to ask his mom for the money. His mom uses this opportunity to cut a deal with Zi Qi. How will Zi Qi choose?

Mama Shen collapses again, but won’t let Xing Ren use the money Mama saved up for the medical bills since she wants Xing Ren to have it as her bridal gift. Zi Qi begs his mom to lend him the money. Mom agrees and says this is a gift to Xing Ren. Her only requirement is that Zi Qi must break up with Xing Ren. Zi Qi hears this and his face freezes.
How many episodes are there supposed to be? Is it 22?
Well as long as it’s all in 1 episode I don’t care. However isn’t ep 20 supposed to be the end?

Miss Koala, can u tell me how come this drama has gone into live shooting? I thought this only happened to Kdrama? As far as I know, HK drama and Taiwan drama will normally screened on TV once they have finished all the shooting right?
Oh no, about 1/3rd of TW-dramas are live filmed. In 2011 alone, the following TW-dramas were live-filmed, which allowed for mid-way story changes and/or extensions due to high ratings: The Fierce Wife, Channel X, and Office Girls. Also the daily dramas are all live-filmed.

Thanks for the preview. Ay..just like everyone is asking, how long is this series? I keep thinking it will end, but it just comes back. I really don’t mind how the show is going as long as I know there is a limit or something. For all I know, this could carry on for like 5 or 6 episodes. I just don’t like not knowing whether the torture will come to an end soon or it will just keep going. It better end good considering all the angst it keeps bringing in. Sorry for the dumb question, but what is live shooting?
