What a perfect way to remind me that Summer is right around the corner knowing that I have this to look forward to. Both Hotaru no Hikari dramas have aired during the Summer, so its no surprise that the final installment of this story will end with a Summer released movie. Starring Ayase Haruka and Fujiki Naohito, season 1 of HnH is one of my favorite J-doramas and is always a joy to watch sipping a cold beer on a hot muggy night. Those overseas will likely have to wait until the Fall to catch of glimpse of the himono onna and her Buchou traipsing all over Italy in their attempt to combine getting married with traveling. The official trailer and a batch of stills have just been released, so feast on this for the meantime. Buchou’s endless patience for Hotaru is truly a lesson in the adage that “she may be silly, but she’s MY silly.” By the way, who wants to bet that Hotaru will call Buchou….Buchou for the rest of their lives even after they are married. Heh. But I’m serious, I have to look up his character’s name because he’s just Buchou forever more in my mind.

Zenkai Girl- gave it some competition for top spot–HnH2 was not as satisfying as HnH1.
But it looks like HnH the movie might secure HnH’s place as a permanent number 1.
How wonderful it is that Hotaru is doing gorugoru on the outdoors. She must be happy.
