Ariel Lin for Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2012 Collection

Two-time Golden Bell Best Actress winner Ariel Lin. That has a nice ring to it. I’ve always thought Ariel Lin was a fantabulous actress, but when she first started out she looked like a little girl and played cute so much I never thought I would see the day she would turn into a fashion plate. It’s been slowly happening for a few years now, and while her red carpet style is still hit or miss, her photo shoots have collectively turned towards the mature and classy vein. This month Ariel models outfits from the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2012 collection that has my salivating in particular for that dress above. It’s a stunning eye-catcing creation and she does it justice. When looking at the background I can immediately tell the photos were taken in Bellavita in Taipei, a super high end shopping mausoleum. I wish she would have worn this dress to the Golden Bells last month instead of that see through oddity she donned. As for the other outfit below, I just have to laugh at the couture sensibility that thinks a bright blue fur shrug is a good idea.

  1. Some girls look so adorable that you would think their very young but their actually a lot older. BTW.. They can pull off the cute girl look. But when they really “do” dress up for the mature part, they really do look a Lot different in a very good way. 🙂

  2. Agreed. I wish she would have worn something like the Gaultier dress on the GBA red carpet. It’s stunning, sexy and classy. Eek, but no comment on the blue fur shrug :\

  3. Totally agree! She should have worn that black dress in the GBA. It would have been a perfect dress for the red carpet. Very Ariel, because she has matured into an elegant, classy & stunning lady. She has really aged very, very well. She doesn’t look 30 at all. Love her whatever she wears and her skin is just perfect, so flawless… 🙂

  4. ummm the blue shrug might be a good idea if it was matched with something else underneath… i mean what the heck is with the disconnected luxurious blue, furry shrug and a casual striped shirt underneath while having smoky-eye glam makeup? o.O smh

nothing against the actress herself =P
