If even the prospect of listening to So Ji Sub rap is getting me this excited, clearly this is no ordinary MV I’m expecting to come out of the maestro roping in hot young things Yoo Seung Ho and Park Shin Hye to star in the upcoming MV for his new rap mini-album. I really do weigh actors on their projects depending on the medium – a film actor may not have the canvas to shine in dramas, television actors often can’t broaden their craft to suit the big screen, and sticking a popular actor or actress in an MV is a hit-or-miss proposition. A few months ago Song Joong Ki did an MV for his Running Man buddy Kim Jong Kook which was filmed while he was doing Nice Guy, and I love Song Joong Ki to death but he seriously just stuck his Maru from NG character into that MV and turned on the same intensity and expressions. It worked but it wasn’t anything new. I’ve always thought Park Shin Hye and Yoo Seung Ho were two of the rising young stars who could actually make a run at being an idol if they wanted. The ability to sing aside, she is an incredible dancer and a sizzling on-stage presence and he is pretty much gorgeous enough to be a Korean version of a Johnny. It was actually when Yoo Seung Ho starred in T-ara‘s “Lies” MV back in 2010 that was the first time I looked at him as an incredibly attractive young man rather than a child actor and he was 16-going-on-17 when he filmed that MV. Mnet has the first peek at the filming for So Ji Sub’s rap MV which shows snippets of Yoo Seung Ho and Park Shin Hye in various settings, including when he steals a kiss from her. Squeeeee! Please give me lots and lots of kisses, enough to tide be over until Yoo Seung Ho returns from the military in two years and he and Park Shin Hye can do a drama together. This MV won’t be released until the end of the month which works out great because Missing You will have ended by then and we can all watch newly resurrected non-serial killer Kang Hyung Joon turn his attentions to a more deserving girl like Shin Hye and romance her to my heart’s desire. Oh yeah, and So Ji Sub shows up randomly in this MV as the 30-something version of Yoo Seung Ho.

yes I too love this pairing of YSH and PSH…even its noona and dongseng,yet that boy is so damn lucky..he practically have chance to kiss Park Shin hye and hug both Shin Hye and Eun Hye since December and January. Yoo Seung Ho has this eyes that looked at you ,even I too felt his piercing eyes watching him acting.Just love him even he is younger than my own kid.Thanks Ockoala can’t wait to watch this MV..I love So Ji Sub but will have to tolerate his rapping hahaha..

Although I love PSH and really like YSH…….I do not have too high an expectation from this MV because I don’t think there is really anything creative or special in the previous music videos by this director. Also, not too fond of rapping. I look forward to it only too see these two young actors and am also curious about the storyline behind the MV. Wish SJS had removed the fuzzy moustache and beard. Why couldn’t he have kept his look as in “ghost”.
I just heard SJS’s “Field Trip” featuring Younha ‘s singing and him rapping and must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I heard her for the first time and loved her voice and singing. The rapping part is not bad at all. I actually enjoyed listening. Now am looking forward the the MV. Hope the director does his bit too.
