We have yet another week of Jang Ok Jung, Live in Love to look forward to, this drama singlehandedly making Mondays bearable again. My gripe that the written previews have been so stingy is mollified with a super juicy video preview. But I’m once again totally perplexed by why there is still no glimpse of second male lead Jae Hee. He is officially one of the latest arriving second leads in drama history, and while his character description came off really intriguing and compelling, if he doesn’t show up its impossible for this drama to keep upping its stakes. I’ve been wondering how long Lee Soon can keep his interest in Ok Jung under wraps in the Palace, a veritable gossip factory and prying eyes. Looks like its about to blow up soon, with word getting to Minister Min and Ok Jung getting into trouble with the forces that want to keep her away from Lee Soon. One thing that has really stood out for me in stories where the ruler of the nation wants the simplest of love stories is how impossible that dream is.
Lee Soon can have the entire world, but he’s powerless to live the ordinary aspects of life that he wants. I’m wondering if he’ll agree to marry In Hyun so that Minister Min will agree to let him take Ok Jung as a concubine, otherwise I can’t see how Lee Soon will be able to keep Ok Jung beside him. I’m pretty impressed with how assertive Lee Soon is in pursuing Ok Jung, not in a domineering way but actually expressing himself so that he can overcome her reservations. If Ok Jung can believe that Lee Soon wants her in a way he’s never wanted another woman, then I can see her daring to take a chance with him. Ok Jung and Lee Soon are so similar in their lots in life, both are up against a wall and have nowhere to turn to. It’s forge ahead or give up, and that type of desperation makes for genuine stakes in life. Their love almost feels like it exists because the Heavens pity them and have allowed them this little measure of happiness. I watch this drama without an expectation of happily ever after, as long as my OTP get their little bits of happy now through the course of their time together.

Yup I can’t agree more that LS and OJ are just the same. That’s make another heart ache. Its too early talking about OJ’s death, but even by the death our OTP couldn’t find happiness at the end. OJ must left the man that she love love facing the cruel world. And LS lost his beloved OJ make his life death even he still alive (╥﹏╥)

I really want a “Happy ever after” but I know that won’t be posible with how the history runs for Jang Heebin!
Actually I kinda dislike JangHeebin figure in history because dramas always put her as the bad woman of the story but with this Jang Ok Jung I start to realize that maybe she wasn’t that bad!
WHERE IS CHI-SOO?! He really is taking forever to show up. A third of the drama’s already done with no second male lead in sight? That’s not normal. But hopefully, when he finally does make his entrance, it shall be breathtaking.
Meanwhile, Lee Sang Yeob is making quite a heartbreaking second fiddle to Yoo Ah In. I only hope there’s a girl somewhere for our Dong-pyung.

Omg!!!! I love these two. The secret hand holding is definitely by far the cutest thing I have seen before. I know I have to have the box of tissues ready. So am I kidding… One box is definitely not enough.
I swear to god every episode is so satisfying in terms of OTP goodness.. If this shows strength is in the romance, by all means lets go all the way with it.
By the time this shows done with me I will probably be a blubbering mess.
And maybe I’m in the minority but I’m hoping for a satisfying ending (not necessarily all sad or all happy)

I’m not a fan of historical korean drama but I love this one. I’m so addicted to Jang Ok Jung. I wish it would be a happy ending like Da Mo Yao ( where he didnt die at the end and end up with the girl) but since it is coming off of Bu Bu Jing Xin it is going to be a tearjerker. I wish Lee Soon would not her to her death..sigh.. even if he wants complete control. I wish there was a way to save her and kill all the bad guys… I love romantic series with a happy ending..even the moon embracing the sun had a happy ending. I love seeing the love story now but you know its gonna rip our hearts out when it is near the end..The fans is going to be screaming when she dies. Also I want Chi-Soo to show up soon. Since everyone loves the king and all these females want to be with him..Hyun Chi-soo need to show up and protect Jang ok Jung to make Lee Soon jealous..show him that even if she doesnt marry him at least there is Hyun Chi-Soo who really loves her as well.. I need to see Lee Soon to be jealous for once! In a way I wish she would pick chi-soo this way she wont die at the end. Maybe if we protest for a happy ending ..the director will give us one? I know..I know..Wishful thinking..

Hahaa theyre so touchy feeley in this drama. I’m just not used to it. Even in modern dramas they don’t do this much skinship in the early stages of their relationships. Not that I’m complaining! I feel so much angst. Ugh. I just don’t want anyone to die while the other reminisces on the past while staring out into the open horizon.
