It was Thanksgiving week in the US but just an ordinary last week of November everywhere else. It was a celebrity star-studded wedding week for a high profile entertainment couple that actually had their entire romance chronicled by the media and still made it to the altar. Congrats are in order for C-movie star Gao Yuan Yuan, a talented and veritable star goddess if ever China produced one, and her slightly younger but just as high profiled TW-movie star Mark Chao.
The couple met on the set of a thriller movie and proceeded to fall in love and earnestly give their relationship a go despite the heightened public scrutiny. The wedding was held at the luxurious Le Meredien Taipei and attended by a who’s who of the Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China entertainment world. Apparently their vows brought the newlyweds and guests to tears with how heartfelt and sweet it was. No word yet on where the cross-strait couple will settle down but likely splitting time between Beijing and Taipei.

Also, the make up looks natural and pretty, but the middle part hair-style is aging her too.
The dress has no shape and besides the lace, nothing is special about it. In my opinion, she probably wanted a conservative dress, but I wished she could of went with a dress that was lacey- but still modern style like Lee Min Jung’s wedding dress.
Sorry for long rant, but I feel like being the fashion police whenever I see a beautiful celebrity wearing such an unflattering wedding dress lol…
I agree the hairstyle really ages her. Gao Yuanyuan is so pretty, she should have gone for a hairstyle that really accentuates her features.
