First Stylish Comedic Teasers for Falling for Innocence with Jung Kyung Ho and Kim So Yeon

The first teasers are out for the upcoming jTBC drama Falling for Innocence (Falling for Soon Jung). Starring Jung Kyung Ho, Kim So Yeon, and Yoon Hyun Min, the drama takes over the time slot from sageuk Maids, which I confess to never getting in the mood to watching despite hearing good things about it. This one is a different story, I adore all three leads and more importantly the drama seems lighthearted wrapped in a heavier theme. It’s been too long since Jung Kyung Ho got to flex his comedic chops, he’ll always be one of the first and most memorable beta-males in K-dramas with his Smile You character.

His last dramas were all dark with Cruel City followed by Endless Love, it’s time this guy is allowed to be goofy again! Bonus points for Kim So Yeon also hitting up her own breezy side since her image toggles between hard-ass no nonsense woman and klutzy gal. The drama revolves around Jung Kyung Ho’s cold corporate shark who gets a personality transplant into a warmhearted man after heart surgery, after which he falls for his own beleaguered secretary played by Kim So Yeon. The PD directed Big Man, My Fair Lady, and Flowers for My Life but this will be the scriptwriter’s first penned drama. The first two teasers made me laugh out out which is always a good sign.

  1. I am looking forward to this. I don’t have any big expectations one way or another, so I think it’ll end up being entertaining for me. 🙂

Great cast! But as always – the writing is such a big ???

  2. Oooh, I like it better in motion. Looking forward to this… also, if anyone wants a good laugh, go over to the Blood thread on Soompi. It’s comedy gold.

  3. I know there is gonna be no bro-love between this two but… i am still hung overed at their bromance in heartless city so whether they will be rivals i am gonna be so game for this drama.

maida is super super super good. turning out to be one of my fave sagueks. Jung yoomi is awesome. Writing is pretty narratively sound. Only criticism i have for the drama is OJH. he is pretty blank in his scenes.

    • Yes, Maids is really that good. The story is interesting and not predictable concerning the love line. Both male leads are so shaded that the viewer doesn’t have a favorite from the get-go, which I really like. But judging from his acting abilities alone I hope it won’t be OJH, because he’d get more screen time then. 😛

      • I agree! I’ve also gotten hooked on Maids, even though I generally don’t like sageuks – politics bores me. I like the focus on life “belowstairs” – the pecking order for servants, how hopeless their lives are and yet the risks/behavior some of them will take in order to get ahead…it’s a good story. I agree though that the less said about Stoneface (OJH) the better.

  4. Kim So Yeon! Kim So Yeon! Kim So Yeon!
    -Chanting all done-

Woo-Hoo. So excited for this and glad she’s back. I didn’t really like her in “I Need Romance” drama (found that drama quite boring). Hopefully this one will be better.

  5. I’m so looking forward to this…but…JKH’s hairstyle…I don’t like it at all…it is making him look like Kim Hyung Joong *shudders*

  6. Oh I want to see this drama ! I love the casting and it seems funny !

PS: On the first picture, I thought it was Aaron Yan !
