Who else gets the feeling that filming the upcoming boys coming-of-age movie Twenty was like going on an extended retreat for leads Kim Woo Bin, Kang Ha Neul, and Junho? Sure they were required to act, but the movie looks like such a riot and their performances have this limber relaxed vibe like they were halfway being themselves in showcasing three best friends hitting adulthood together. The movie comes out this month and will be yet another test/confirmation as to the rising leading man status of Kim Woo Bin, not to mention additional good exposure in a hip young movie for Kang Ha Neul and Junho.
The leading ladies are only briefly glimpsed and include Min Hyo Rin, Jung So Min, and Lee Yoo Bi, but all the attention remain trained on the three male leads as this is a bromance-centric movie. The full movie trailer was released last week and fleshes out the personalities and issues surrounding the three man-boys. Kim Woo Bin is a layabout who breaks up with his girlfriend to date a rich girl rather than figure out his career path. Kang Ha Neul is studious but find his studies interrupted when he falls for his pretty sunbae in school. And Junho is the hardworking responsible one of the bunch who puts in the most effort but doesn’t get the commensurate rewards.

This year is for Kim woo bin to shine after Lee Jong suk. This movie and also possible Hong sisters drama will come out soon. I’m really excited.
I feel worried that the plot might not be so good, but if this movie succeeds then it really makes KWB a bigger star, and even if it fails it can’t hurt his career too much since his last 2movies did well. Hope he confirms for the Hong sisters soon!
I feel worried too because this movie directed by a new director who used to be a big screen writer. This movie is the debut directing of the screen writer. And others like Gangnam blues did well these days. I hope kwb will say yes to Hong sisters drama.

I hope the boys popularity will translated to satisfied ticket sales. Junho been praised for his debut movie acting although his scene only less than 10 minutes. Technically this is his third movie but the second one don’t have certain date when it will see the light due to the lead actor scandal. Not too help his name is same as this movie Twenty director.

Not interested at all although my baby Junho is in. No much difference in the roles of Kim Woo Bin and Kang Ha Neul for this movie than for the drama “Heirs”…Can they find something new for these young actors in the rise? Why always assume similar images for them to showcase in each drama?
