The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days Adds Lee Joo Seung as Ha Ji Won’s Brother

The K-remake of TW-drama In Time With You keeps looking more and more promising. There is always the chance that SBS can still manage to combine promising into crap but I’ll take initially promising any day if only to keep my hopes up. The upcoming SBS weekend drama The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days continues to add talented and charismatic actors to the cast. In addition to already signed on leads Ha Ji Won, Lee Jin Wook, and this week Yoon Kyun Sang also joined, movie actor turned drama familiar face Lee Joo Seung is also continuing his drama long stay by hopping over to this cast.

The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days will be directed by the PD of Pinocchio so it’s not surprise that two Pinocchio alums in Yoon Kyun Sang and Lee Joo Seung have reunited here. While Yoon Kyun Sang may be playing the second male lead, a character described as a third generation chaebol hiding his wealthy identity, Lee Joo Seung has signed on to play Ha Ji Won’s little brother in the drama. This I can’t wait to see, I can already picture how Ji Won is going to be so annoyed by her lazy bro with plenty of sibling bickering in store. Lee Joo Seung may not look leading man material but as a character actor he’s one of the shining talents of his generation, as proven by his many movie roles prior to moving into drama land last year.

Lee Joo Seung has wowed me in all three of his most recent drama appearances, from Blade Man to Pinocchio to the currently airing Let’s Eat 2. He’s an actor’s actor, the kind of acting ability and onscreen pull that will serve him well as his career goes through the youth roles all the way until old age if he keeps on acting for that long.

The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days Adds Lee Joo Seung as Ha Ji Won’s Brother — 10 Comments

  1. I like him so much. I been watching most of his dramas without realized it was him. Love his character in as LDW baby bro in Blade Man and the way he crushing at Shin Se Kyung. To think that in real life he is older than Shin Se Kyung but in that drama he called SSK noona.

  2. Did I miss something? Did Ariel Lin have a little brother in ITWY? I thought he was an older brother (since he was already married with children).

    • Nope! She didn’t. Her character is the youngest in her family. I guess k production team decide to change some of characters setup?

  3. I loved him in the drama special he did with B2ST’s Lee Ki Kwang. It was the first time I saw Lee Joo Seung, and he was so great as the high school student watching his best friend die, trying to help him have his first kiss.

  4. I saw him first in HSKOS too. he had a minor role there as one of SIG workers but he was cute. than i saw him on pinocchio and i loved him very much there. it’s nice that he and hyung will be together again in another drama. this drama is forming really nice cast.
