The upcoming Mon-Tues time slot is going to be up for grabs in a few weeks, once Mrs. Cop wraps up on SBS and doddering Splendid Politics (Hwajung) finally shuffles off after it 100 50 episode run on MBC. There’s also Eccentric Daughter-in-law ending on KBS, but that one never made any headway and its successor the cheerleading high school drama Sassy Go Go at most has a chance of being a cult favorite with the younger viewers. The big showdown will be long sageuk Six Flying Dragons on SBS opposite MBC moving a long family weekend makjang over to prime time in Glamorous Temptation.
I’ve been loving the promos and teasers for Six Flying Dragons, and the first look at the kids cast in Glamorous Temptation reminded me of how much I look forward to watching Kim Sae Ron in anything, even opposite a tall handsome harmless log like Nam Joo Hyuk. Now comes the first teaser for Glamorous Temptation and it fairly transported me to the early portion of May Queen crossed with Can You Hear My Heart. Dang those nostalgia feels! Joining Kim Sae Ron and Nam Joo Hyuk in the kids portion cast is Kim Bo Ra, and all together I still can’t picture the transformative “growing” that turn Kim Sae Ron into Choi Kang Hee, shrink Nam Joo Hyuk into Joo Sang Wook, and lengthen Kim Bo Ra into Cha Ye Ryun.

I am soooo gonna watch this teenage portion of the show. Kyaaa! Hopefully, Nam Joo Hyuk cutie pie would show some improvement! I’m rooting for him to deliver well.
I loved the kid part in May Queen ! But I stopped the drama with the adult part.
Those who skipped Eccentric Daughter-in-Law have missed what’s easily one of the best OTPs this year. The Drama’s nothing great, but the OTP’s really quite ridiculously super cute. The short length is something I’d REALLY like to see cath on, too. More twelve episodes Dramas would be GREAT. In the meantime, this anachronistic ajeossi will settle for pretending to be a “younger viewer” and check out Sassy Go Go.
I think 12-14 episode dramas have a chance of becoming the norm in the future. 5-6 year ago, most dramas were 20 episodes or more but TVN pretty much changed the game with their 16 episode hit dramas. I also hope pre-produced/filmed dramas become the norm in the future.
Except tvN’s “16 episode Dramas really aren’t. First Reply 1994 & then Misaeng followed the same pattern – with extensions bothi in the number of episodes and their length, touching 90 minutes each by the end. In terms of runtime, both of those were the equivalent of 25+ episodes. Which, to come back on topic, makes them about half as long as Glamorous Temptation

I love so much Kim sae ron she is so pretty ,talent, attractive & cute .I like Kim sae ron on their korea country .I watched their teaser .They are so compactible couple when i have ever seen other couple. I wanna see again Nam joo hyuk & Kim sae ron on their new drama for Main role .
