Park Hyung Sik is a Welcome Christmas Present in the Pages of Sure Magazine

I know one present I’d be thrilled to get for Christmas – Park Hyung Sik in a wrapped box please! The charming and charismatic idol-actor is on the cover and pages of Sure Magazine in an early start to welcome the upcoming holiday season. I still marvel over how he was utterly forgettable in Heirs, probably due to Kim Woo Bin sucking in all the attention in that drama, but when Park Hyung Sik got his turn to shine in weekend drama What’s With My Family he stepped up to the plate big time.

That’s still my favorite drama of hisds, but his performance in High Society this year was also most excellent. Too bad the drama never really reached for the stars and ended up mired in the mundane. Up next for Park Hyung Sik is likely his first sageuk performance as he’s confirmed to join Shilla era sageuk drama Hwarang, which is also courting Park Seo Joon and Go Ara. If he accepts then filming starts this January for an mid-2016 premiere.

  1. ”I still marvel over how he was utterly forgettable in Heirs, probably due to Kim Woo Bin sucking in all the attention in that drama”

This statement is either coming from a butthurt place or someone who wasen’t around during that drama airtime.

The shippers, fan reviewes on DF and all major websites beg to differ from US to China. 90% procent of the attention was focus on Lee Min Ho – Park shin hye which actully proved to be the biggest shipper movement we have ever seen to this day. everything your searching for is recording on the internet you just gotta backtrack it

      • @Meh She is true tho. the buzz was completely on the other side of town and there was never even competition for buzz and attention it was criminally lopsided for team Lee Min Ho/Park Shin hye anything else is nothing but revision and as @Fanish said you can backtrack it. There is no talk there and shouldn’t have been reply to it even

      • May I remind you it’s a Park Hyung Sik article…Bickering over who got more spotlight in Heirs is pointless. Anyway ‘The Heirs’ was overrated imo. I didn’t even watch it when it aired, only FF through it later on to get to Hyung Sik scenes and I still think it’s not his best performance (he was wasted in it)

    • Lol, LMH fans need to chill. I’m not bias on either side but it’s a joke to say 90% of the interest was for LMH. Don’t act like a delulu, KWB was the break out star even if I don’t like him or see anything special in his performance. It was ordinary tbh, but the attention wasn’t.

      • I think Everybody became a star from that show and everybody gained some sort of stardom but the once who came out even bigger stars then they were was Lee Min Ho his Social medias literally exploded, not so much for KWB. I would say PSH got the second biggest slayage from that fountain. that is in attention.

The main leads ———————- china of wall ———————> KBW..

BTW why are we even talking about this it feels so 2013

  2. He looks so handsome and dapper here, just perfect for Christmas time! I’m so glad you love him too and I’m looking forward to lots of future Park Hyung Shik posts 🙂

  3. What could I possibly say about this boy? I’m completely, utterly in love with him since High Society, watched everything he was in since then and it isn’t going to change anytime soon *excited for his next project*…He’s a bias list ruiner, he has awaken the inner fangirl in me (never thought it could happen) and though I was never into social networking stuff, I’m now active on some of them…Hyung Sik is talented, handsome but underrated unfortunately(at least in my eyes)PS: Thanks for posting the Sure magazine photoshoot, I love it *5&6 being my favs*
