Entertaining Long Five Minute Preview for Cheese in the Trap Premiering Monday January 4th

The first weekend of January in the new year 2016 is almost at an end, which means new tvN Mon-Tues drama Cheese in the Trap will have its long awaited premiere on January 4th. I’ve only recently ratcheted my excitement up from curiosity to anticipation thanks to a very interesting long five minute preview. All the leads are showcased in Park Hae Jin, Kim Go Eun, Seo Kang Joon, Lee Sung Kyung, Nam Joo Hyuk, and Park Min Ji, and everyone is delivering nicely in performance chemistry from what I can see. It’s a college campus setting drama but seems more about interpersonal relationships than overcoming set adversities, and will feature supposedly nuanced interactions that will showcase very different personalities sparking in diverse ways. Count me in for a first taste of the cheese in the trap, with hopefully no ouchies from getting snapped by a seemingly promising drama that turns out to be a dud.

  1. Wow! I see the chemistry already. Acting wise no doubt at all especially the female lead. I have seen her in Monster and forgot the name of the other one…she was a student and had a special friendship with a 70 year old college professor, anyways, I thought she was fabulous. So needles to say, I am going to watch this one. 🙂

    • That would be “The Muse” aka “Eun Kyo” with my forever love Park Hae-il. That movie was actually Kim Go-eun’s first ever project and she was immediately noticed for her acting caliber.

She was also in Coin Locker Girl, but sadly I cannot find a decent subtitle for that one.

  2. Phew, this looks closer to the webtoon than what was originally shown in the teasers. I just hope there is as little Seo Kang Joon as possible.

    • Well. sorry to dissapoint but it ain’t going to happen..if they are really closer to webtoon by chapters we won’t see him nuch in the beginning but from the moment he’ll show up we’ll see him more and more.

actually his character inho is one of ny faves in the webtoon so i really hope SKJ won’t dissapoint with his portrayel.

  3. So glad it’s starting tommorow. hope it will be good and be successfull, PHJ and rest of the cast deserve it for their hard work all recent months. fighting!

  4. Now I’m wondering until which part will the drama cover. Considering that the webtoon is still ongoing in season 4 now. Is it only until Seol and Jung relationship change?

    • I hear it come untill season three. And there will be a different part from the webtoon but we can still hope they not change much since the writer is the creator of this webtoon.it impossible she/he will ruin her story. *sorry with my bad english*
