Oh Yeon Seo is Scene Stealing Leading off New Cast Stills for Please Come Back Ahjusshi

With lunar new year over and done with, finally it feels like the never ending slew of holidays has passed and it’s time to get down to business. February marks the arrival of several high profile K-drama premieres, two of which are going head-to-head in three weeks at the end of the month. KBS is finally unveiling the fully pre-produced Kim Eun Sook penned drama Descendants of the Sun on Wednesday February 24th, and the same day over on SBS is the premiere of the soul swapping humanistic drama Please Come Back Ahjusshi based on a well received Japanese novel.

I’ve been enjoying the promo stills and teaser videos for Please Come Back Ahjusshi, it’s nice to see Rain playing a character suited for his acting style rather than being shove in teeny bopper romances like My Lovely Girl. Even more intriguing than Rain is actually leading lady Oh Yeon Seo, who I have been really meh on in the past, but am loving her as she plays Kim Soo Ro‘s soul in her hottie ladu body. I think her gruff manly act with the visual incongruity coming from her form will be a landmine for chuckles. Check out loads more newly dropped character stills of all the primary cast members, those mentioned above as well as Lee Min Jung, Honey Lee, Choi Won Young, and Kim In Kwon.

  1. Everything ia perfect except LMJ. She can’t act and have the same facial expressions in all her dramas even on those pics.
She is also inviting negativities to this drama.
I wish Rain has his love line with OYS instead.

  2. I love Oh Yeon Seo so damn much so I will check this out for sure 😀
Why did you find her meh in the past though ? I always thought that she was great and keep improving in her different roles and Shine Or Go Crazy really made me fangirl over her in a new level, haha.

A little bit indifferent over Lee Min Jung though. I think she is really pretty but somehow, I have a hard time finishing any dramas with her.

  3. Oh Yeon Seo acting keeps on improving. She never take the same role and her acting in Shine or Go Crazy shows how much she improved.
I hope this will be another break through acting here….

As for Lee Min Jung, i dislike her because of her acting and whiny voice. She never improves but she is greedy. She should lay back a little because all i read about her is lee byung hun.

  4. This drama looks worse and worse with each additional stills that are being revealed. I was never a fan of over acting in comedy. In fact – I cannot stand it. Add to the mix Lee Min-Jung whom I cannot stand, and I will most likely avoid this drama like the plague. Too bad they took a wonderful novel and ruined it in a Kdrama.
