Wallace Huo and Zhou Xun Slip into Qing Dynasty Life in Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace

It’s a relief that A-list Chinese movie star Zhou Xun‘s big C-drama return with the mega budget Qing dynasty drama Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace found her a leading man in Wallace Huo who can fully bring the nuanced emotions with just one glance. That both are married in real life doesn’t even register because they’re consummate professionals that make me excited to watch amazing acting unfold onscreen. The first set of drama stills are out showing Zhou Xun’s Ruyi in the palace, along with her Emperor honey and various friend, ally, and enemy consorts. I’m not the biggest fan of court intrigue dramas but the sumptuous rich set pieces and intricate costuming makes for an additional lure to watch the drama when it hits the small screens next year in 2017.

  1. I’m watching one C drama and the set and clothes are gorgeous but the quality is bad so I cant really enjoy it…

where I can download C dramas with english subs and HD quality ??

  2. Whoah, seeing Janine Chang in the stills was so weird for me, because I haven’t heard anything about her for ages and sort of forgot about her.. Considering how many things she was involved in/how popular her dramas were a few years ago, it seems strange that I could possibly forget and not have thought at all about missing her on the screen. Was planning to watch this drama anyway, but now I’m even more excited 🙂

  3. Beautiful costumes and a group of gorgeous looking consorts. Lucky Emperor Qian Long.

Zhou Xun’s smittened look and Wallace’s steady gaze is absolute picturesquare.

Where can I find more information of this novel?
