Moon Geun Young’s Medical Surgery Cancels Upcoming Stage Performances of Romeo and Juliet

What distressing news to hear, but thankfully it’s being handled swiftly and all is well. Actress Moon Geun Young has fallen ill on the set of her stage production of Romeo and Juliet, with the upcoming performances cancelled after she was taken to the hospital and required surgery for a condition called compartment syndrome. It’s a painful and dangerous condition caused by the buildup due to internal bleeding or tissue swelling. Moon Geun Young’s surgery went well and she’s now in recovery, but will likely need a followup surgery on top of this. She’s always seemed so healthy and happy it’s really unfortunate to hear that she came down with this medical condition. Wishing her a speedy and comfortable recovery!

    • Ya right. Me too, I would love to watch her on stage! Hope she recovers soon. One of my favourite actresses since AIMH days when she completely outshone SHK.

  1. Oh no! Compartment syndrome is bad. If not taken care of immedietly you could lose a limb and it doesn’t bode well that she needed another surgery in top
Of the first one. I hope she is able to recover well and take time to do so properly instead of rushing back into the production.
