JI Hyun Woo, Kim Ji Hoon, and Seohyun Confirmed for MBC Weekend Drama Bad Thief, Good Thief

This is one drama casting where I’d keep three out of four choices and ask for a substitute. But since it’s a done deal I’ll still check it out because both male leads are always worth watching. Ji Hyun Woo and Kim Ji Hoon are confirmed for upcoming MBC weekend drama Bad Thief, Good Thief, and will be joined by SNSD member Seohyun. She’s clearly branching into acting after her first major drama role last year in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart: Ryeo playing one of the supporting female leads. I thought she was actually passable in Moon Lovers but getting the bump up to female lead of a fifty episode weekend drama as her next role is asking for a big step up in delivery. Rounding out the cast is Im Joo Eun as the second female lead, once again finding herself playing second fiddle to a bigger name actress with less experience.

Bad Thief, Good Thief premieres in late May after Father, I’ll Take Care of You. Writing is the screenwriter of Glamorous Temptation, May Queen, and Golden Rainbow.

JI Hyun Woo, Kim Ji Hoon, and Seohyun Confirmed for MBC Weekend Drama Bad Thief, Good Thief — 9 Comments

  1. I like Ji Hyun-Woo and Kim Ji-Hoon. I do not think that Seohyun is a leading material yet. She was below mediocre in Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo (as were most of the idols in that show).

I really hate how they infuse drama with all these idols who cannot act, esp. for leading parts. Like they earn a special privilege for leading roles…

    • Seohyun’s character drives me nuts. She is so nosy!Becsuse of that she does not trust Dolmok and his brother and she F every thing up!
If she had not followed Dolmok
hos brother’s boss would have been caught in thr act of murdering Dolmok and would have been arrested and problem almost solved!
The other thing is Dolmok never gets mad at her for F things up, which aggravates me.
He beeded to put her in her place.

  2. I’m not sure about Seohyun too. And I really like to see Im Joo Eun in a role like hers in What’s up, she was so badass or like Wild romance, she was so funny. She’s good actress.
