New Preview and Drama Stills for Temperature of Love with Seo Hyun Jin, Yang Se Jong, and Kim Jae Wook

Seeing Kim Jae Wook smile so adorably seals the deal for me, I’m watching upcoming SBS Mon-Tues drama Temperature of Love come hell or freezing over. I’m keeping my expectations measure for this drama in terms of ratings, romance dramas tend not to do as well these days with the domestic audience and while Seo Hyun Jin has two recent hits under her belt every new drama is ultimately judged on its own merits. I don’t know how relative newbie male lead Yang Se Jong will help or hurt this drama’s chances, he’s really good looking and a good actor from what I’ve seen but visually with Seo Hyun Jin I’m just not feeling them off the bat. I’m probably visually stuck on her with Eric from the Another Oh Hae Young days and Yang Se Jong just looks like a puppy-ish younger brother to her. With that said, I sat through all of Who Are You for Kim Jae Wook and he broke my heart there so there’s more than enough to keep me loyally following along here even if the lead coupling doesn’t rise to the occasion.

New Preview and Drama Stills for Temperature of Love with Seo Hyun Jin, Yang Se Jong, and Kim Jae Wook — 15 Comments

  1. I’m a bit disappointed seeing those stills of Seo Hyun Jin’s character in a cell/ getting arrested. It’s so cliche >.> It seems like kdramas love putting the female character or main character in jail when it comes to rom-com.

  2. Good luck Ms Koala, this writer can be so mundane. Actors and actresses need that extra bit of charisma to pull of an interesting drama with her!!!

  3. After these new stills, I agree about the two leads. He looks like a younger brother rather than the romantic lead. 🙁 I’m hoping the acting will change that! I want to love this show so badly

  4. LJW as second lead? why ? why ? I think he’ll more compatible with SHJ than that male lead. acting and look wise. Seriously I have enough with these noona dongsaeng stories..

    • Agree Kim Jae Wook looks more compatible with Seo Hyun Jin. YSJ should be paired with someone younger. the acting chops of KJW and SHJ are also closer.

  5. I bet people haven’t watched Duel or they wouldn’t take Yang Se Jong’s acting skills as lightly as they do. He might be young and his filmography may not be that extensive yet (only 4 works but only debuted in 2016) but in a span of a year, he’s has proven to be an actor worth keeping an eye on…he’s really promising imo (watch ‘Duel’ if you don’t believe me, it will blow your mind) I have no doubt he will manage to hold his own alongside more seasoned actors such as Seo Hyun Jin and Kim Jae Wook. I’m more worried about the writing tbh (High Society and Doctors weren’t that good, only watchable thanks to some actors :/

As for the noona/dongsaeng thing, I don’t mind at all. I still consider “I hear your voice” one of the best drama I’ve ever watched (Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk were really a match made in heaven imo…Hands down, Lee Jong Suk’s best leading lady so far imo.

  6. I really love LJW but the story is about a woman who falls in love in a younger man… So LJW can’t be this character. He could be the lead in another drama but not here…

  7. I seen Duel and can say, Yang Se Jong acting is superb in there especially when he’s juggling between 3 different character. He may be new but he got the acting chop for sure.
