tvN Wed-Thur Drama Wise Prison Life Keeps Increasing in Ratings Past 9% Coming Back From Holiday Hiatus

For all the mixed press tvN Sat-Sun drama Hwayugi is getting, its brethren Wise Prison Life (Prison Playbook) is only getting rave feedback in every way on Wed-Thurs night time slot. It took a Christmas week hiatus from airing and then returned stronger than ever, with this week’s new episodes rocking up another 2% in ratings while the prime time big three network dramas all fell. Episode 11 hit 9.095% and the following night episode 12 went up further to 9.393%.   1. The story, the cast, their acting are just great. Hope can break through 10%. It’s good to have it on Wed/Thurs time slot. It’s far better than the others.

  2. Ugh Jang Hae In is such a cutie! I just started watching and although the episodes can be looong, it’s phenomenal so far! Can’t wait to watch the rest.

    I just turn it on, and found myself giggling uncontrollable over the running jokes. It also touch the right spot at the right time too

    You know ms koala, as you are manga fan too, I think you’ll understand’ WPL and AM 1988 feels like Adachi Mitsuru’s signature: it’s daily life, it’s joke is the slow build but hit hard at the right time, and the twist just so so good. And it is the type that you’ll miss and find it enjoyable after long time
