Jang Geun Seok and Han Ye Ri Confirmed as Leads for SBS Mon-Tues Legal Drama Switch

There’s been a drama title switch and also a lead confirmation for upcoming SBS legal thriller formerly called Peacock King. The title is now Switch (Change the World) and will still be headlining Jang Geun Seok, and he will be pairing up with Han Ye Ri who has accepted the role as female lead. Jang Geun Seok will be playing a dual role: he’s a swindler who was smart enough to study for the prosecutor’s exam but ended up choosing a career on the other side of the law, but somehow decides to impersonate a prosecutor to solve crime, and the other role is a prosecutor who looks identical to the male lead. Han Ye Ri’s role is also that of a prosecutor, someone who is hot blooded and tenacious to her profession. This drama is slated to air on SBS Mon-Tues this spring after the end of Return.

Joining Jang Geun Seok and Han Ye Ri are solid supporting actors Jung Woong In and Park Ho San.

  1. Yes, Han Ye Ri! I am in!
Liking the supporting cast too, Jung Woong In and Park Ho San.
I just hope male lead JGS doesn’t disappoint.

  2. Finally the confirmation was announced.
Yes, a double role for Jang Keun Suk
“The peacock king” title was a misunderstanding and I wrote comments under previous posts here (lazy enough to quote myself) that the name will be different.
I am also very happy all the cast are solid actors who will make the drama a delight to watch.

  3. Han Ye Ri is definitely great. Just wondering, when will Jang Guen Suk go to army? Anyway, he is very lucky to act with an actress like Han Ye Ri, she is definitely the on of higher calibre 🙂

  4. Great to see him back where he belongs.Dramaland has missed his charisma and looks for way too long.
I am antipating a huge year for him.☺

  5. I hope this project is better then his previous ones and awesome that his costar is Han Yeri she’s amazing.

He’s been looking quite bloated for a while, is he ill or is it just weight gain?

  6. Looking forward to this. I hope it becomes a successful drama. And for the love of drama gods, i hope he changes his hairstyle.
