jTBC Medical Drama Life Finalizes Casting of Lee Dong Wook, Jo Seung Woo, Won Jin Ah, and Moon So Ri

A full cast has been assembled this week for spring 2018 jTBC drama Life, not to be confused with the tvN police human interest drama Live that’s premiering earlier.  Life stars already confirmed male leads Lee Dong Wook and Jo Seung Woo who will be joined by just announced female leads Won Jin Ah and Moon So Ri. It’s a hospital setting medical drama by the screenwriter of Secret Forest (Stranger) with the PD of Deserving of the Name, Dear My Friends, and My Secret Hotel. It’s scheduled to air in July of 2018 and is on my radar for the great production team and even better casting selection.

  1. PD Hong is one I am excited for. He has an impressive body of works. I love most of the dramas that he helmed. I am not excited about the medical setting but the writer is solid (though I dropped FOS halfway) and the casts are totally rawking.

  2. Wow love the actors. And the writer. And the PD.

How in the world did we even get adult actors who can act? And a writer who can write and a reputable PD?

This is not a joke right? I am so watching it.

  3. Jo Seung Woo. Nuff said.
With the new PD Ahn drama and SJS returning to the small screen there is hope that 2018 will be able to make me forget 2017 in which I finished like 2 shows. One was Secret Forest / Stranger btw.
