I’ve seen singer-actress IU perform live on stage and she’s got an incredible screen presence for one so petite not to mention singing solo without the flanking of an idol group. She spent her Christmas holidays in Taipei, holding a two night concert on the 24th and 25th as part of her 10th Anniversary Concert tour, with plenty of tracks under her belt to select from to entertain her fans. The concerts are sold out, a testament to IU’s popularity in Taiwan as a singer, and she’s also quite popular as an actress having done Dream High, Moon Lovers, and most recently My Ahjusshi which is a fitting dram for her 10th debut year to show how far she’s improved as an actress.
I wonder if she will accept the hong sister drama..
Apparently she’ll be working on her album before she works on a drama series, so I’m guessing she’ll be available at around the 2nd quarter of the year. It’s good to know about her popularity abroad as we don’t get as much media play around this girl. 10years is a long time! Happy anniversary! Hope you had fun at her concert.
