First Stills of Ha Ji Won and Yoon Kye Sang in Upcoming jTBC Romance Drama Chocolate

I love chocolate and I know this upcoming K-drama Chocolate is exactly my taste bud. It stars two of my faves Ha Ji Won and Yoon Kye Sang, in a sure to be warm and weepy romance drama, penned by one of my favorite screenwriters Lee Kyung Hee. Sure I dislike half of what she wrote but the other half I LOVE with my entire heart and soul, she’s that polarizing and charismatic. Her Sang Doo, Let’s Go to School, Thank You, and of course Nice Guy are on my top 10 list, and plenty more love Sorry, I Love You, A Love to Kill, and Will it Snow for Christmas. And even the wildly inconsistent Uncontrollably Fond had the best two final episodes I’ve ever watched in any drama as the finale swan song. So basically I’m saying my expectations are sky high and the bar is set even higher, but I am watching this baby the last tear-filled end because Ha Ji Won and Yoon Kye Sang together is…..sigh.

First Stills of Ha Ji Won and Yoon Kye Sang in Upcoming jTBC Romance Drama Chocolate — 12 Comments

  1. So glad that I can access this website again! Past couple of days I couldn’t because of malware warnings… Ha Ji Won looks as great as ever!

  2. The fact that it is a JTBC drama means it’s already something to look forward to. Even if the ratings not yield sky high results, if the audience reception is outright positive then it would be considered a success.

  3. I will watch this for Ha Ji Won. Been a long time since she did really good projects that I have been skipping them and ended up missing her so much. I hope this will do her justice.

    • JTBC keeps winning when it comes to the quality of their dramas lately that’s why I’m excited for this one. HJW and YKS looked good together when they presented at the Baeksang Awards so I’m looking forward to their pairing in this drama. Hope the drama will do well!

  4. It feels like it’s been forever since I last saw Ha Ji Won. I skipped Hospital Ship so it feels like it’s been a while. I’m just happy she’s back and that it’s with a good co-star who is actually her age. Really hoping this delivers as the last two dramas were meh.

  5. They look severely depressed and if that is gonna be the mood through out the entire drama I’m skipping it. I love you HJW ❤️but my heart ain’t gonna take it if you’re not smiling and happy in love in the end. I have missed you tonnes though but welcome back!

  6. I’m so excited and can not wait to see my Ha Ji Won. Also looking forward for plot and what kind of chemistry she will have with Yoon Kye Sang. I just hope they’ll air it on Netflix or Viki.

  7. Welcome back Ha Ji Won. I have missed you heaps. So hoping that both the plot and chemistry will be worthwhile. Hospital Ship was a disappointment as her character was morose and sullen most of the time. Ha Ji Won does not suit playing sad and melancholic characters. Give me spunk, feisty and bubbly. The cooking and baking will lure me in though. Hope it will air in Netflix. Woohoo, November is going to be so tantalising with Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin’ Crash Landing Love premiering as well.
