Next week is the arrival of KBS Mon-Tues reincarnation romance thriller drama Born Again, starring Jang Ki Yong, Jin Se Yeon, and Lee Soo Hyuk. I’m actually quite interested in this drama, the concept has plenty of angst to milk and it’s all coming from male lead Jang Ki Yong based on how beaten down but still smexy he looks in his first life and later all confident and cleaned up in his second life. Jin Se Yeon is great at smiling and looking beatific and Lee Soo Hyuk always makes me smile at how sharp his features look in stills but then warms up when he’s acting. I think this drama won’t be some explosive ratings hit but it could be a niche hit with this cast especially if they have great chemistry.
Yes i wanna watch a tear jerker..looks full of angst . Time to refresh memories of that good old ex bcoz circumstances couldn’t let us together. That feeling is most painful when noone is at fault but still destiny has written something else for us.???????
Definitely both male leads are eye candies. Not too sure about FL, but I will watch due to boredom.
I am so looking forward to this drama. Plot sounds very fascinating. I love Jin Seyeon and it’s great to see Lee Soo Hyuk back in dramaland. Not too sure about Jang Ki Young as I found him terribly unconvincing in Search:WWW but his characters in Born Again look a lot more interesting and better-written than his pointless character in Search.
Really curious about this show. I am actually more interested in this one than the lee min ho drama starting on friday.
I hope Jang Ki Yong does well this time because I didn’t enjoy his last 2 performances although I liked him in GBC, MA, and Come and Hug Me.
