K-actor Kim Jung Hoon Dropped by New Agency a Year After Relationship Scandal with Ex-girlfriend

K-actor Kim Jung Hoon‘s career has been one of the weirder ones in the annals of K-drama prominent performances. He was super duper popular after Goong (Princess Hours) as the second male lead and I confess to liking him better than male lead Joo Ji Hoon who just seemed stiff and emotionally stunted. And yet Kim Jung Hoon’s career never took off or went anywhere in the last 15 years and he may not be as good an actor as Joo Ji Hoon as proven himself to be but he did have potential. His biggest role since Goong was the original I Need Romance as the cheating male lead everyone loved to hate but it turned out his personal life was even more lamentable. Last year there was a scandal where his ex-girlfriend sued him for forcing her to have an abortion and then abandoning her in both monetary and emotional support. He had to find a new agency but this week it was revealed the two have parted ways and Kim Jung Hoon may be turning his attention to becoming a CF and influencer on his own.

  1. John Hoon has had a good singing career in Japan and he is fluent in Japanese. He can also work as DJ in radio shows. Lots of opportunities still besides acting which he is quite weak. He can do voiceover in animation too. His personal relationship is private issue which should not be mixed with professional career. He is not married and is not having an affair. The girl might be after his money so do not trust a one-sided story. She is also responsible for getting pregnant out of wedlock as long as it is not rape. Anyways this is his private problem. I won’t take sides. The girl is not always right although some may pity her but I won’t in this case unless abuse is proven.

    • Well said…No one is forced to have an abortion…I dont just blindly accept her side. Sounds like her bitterness to me.

      • You right. I apologize for my assumption.

I assumed this was internalized misogyny and turns out it was regular smegular misogyny all along!

      • Not Necessarily.Bad PR for the agency still does not acquaint that any of that is being said is at all the truth..I doubt his Agency would no anymore than anyone else…Its all about PR to them.

      • That’s true. I admit I know nothing. I’ll just leave it to the professionals and God and karma lolll

    • why is only the woman’s responsibility if she gets pregnant? It takes two to tango and to make a baby.
He should have wrapped it up instead of having unprotected sex. (hope neither had an STD)

  2. Why was there only one season (2009) with that magical cast?

It seems strange that such successes just quit.

    Does anyone know the reason?
