Jang Geun Seok Discharged From the Military After Completing Public Service

It’s welcome back to singer-actor Jang Geun Seok, what a nice way to head into the weekend for him. Jang Geun Seok was discharged Friday afternoon from completing his mandatory military service in the public service sector hence he’s not wearing his army fatigues. He looks healthy and I can totally see him smiling because he has an eye smile visible despite wearing his face mask. He enlisted nearing the deadline for doing his military service but he really maximized the acting side of his career before he left having done the drama Switch: Change the World. Welcome back Jang Geun Seok, I’ll keep my eye out on his first post return acting project and to see what he can do.

  1. It was a so long waiting, but finally JKS is back!

In a few days he has an appearance on a radio show and no doubt he will talk about his future plans.

  2. seeing PSH and then, here JKS made me walk down memory lane the You’re Beautiful drama, of course with the rest of the Anjells..I hope that JKS will find a right project for him. He’s such a versatile artist.

  3. Welcome Back to him. I hope he choose a good come back project. Beethhoven Virus and He’s beautiful is still his best work for me…

    • I think some of them really have trouble with their physical conditions and therefore didn’t pass the test. I don’t think it’s so easy to pretend to be unfit and just dodge the active service. Yoo ah in for example had been heavily criticised but he actually tried 5 times to get into the active duty before getting rejected again and again.
Also I heard the reason JGS did public service is because of his bipolar disorder. That’s legit illness.

  4. This is first comment of this sort, I’m making in my whole life. I like JJS. I was introduced to Korean dramas thru “You’re Beautiful”. I am very selective, probably due to my age, I want wholesome, beautifully acted, simple, clean, and entertaining plots.Anyway, I follow you religiously thru Facebook. I am thankful for your taking the time to translate “Da mo Yao” and “Yong Song ge”. This is a long belated thank you, Koala. If it were not for the fact that I’m very happy JJS is back in form, I would not have had the nerve to do this. I look forward to good choices from him in everything. I wish him the best as I continue to pray for him. And to you, please know I enjoy your posts. Thank you! God bless you!
