Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Ni Play Best Friends in the K-movie Remake of Award Winning C-movie Soulmate

Newly minted Best New Actress award winner at this year’s 2020 Baeksang Arts Awards Kim Da Mi has her next role lined up and it’s a high profile one. Kim Da Mi will be the female lead in the official Korean movie adaptation of the award winning and box office hit Chinese movie Soulmate (Qi Yue and An Sheng). The movie rests on the performance of dual female leads with the original movie actresses Zhou Dongyu and Ma Si Cun (Sandra Ma) getting career boosts and winning multiple best actress awards across the Chinese-language awards circuit. Joining Kim Da Mi as her onscreen bestie is rising young actress Jeon So Nee who is currently playing the younger Lee Bo Young in When My Love Blooms and was the school friend of Park Bo Gum in Encounter (Boyfriend). She was promising in Encounter which was my first encounter (harhar) with her but I am really underwhelmed with her in Blooms. I think Kim Da Mi should get an equal level female lead perhaps Park So Dam.

  1. I agree with the choice of Park So Dam, or may be they should get Kim Tae Ri to join Kim Da Mi. Both are really amazing actresses.
