K-stars Donate to Disaster Relief for Devastating Flooding in South Korea

South Korea has been hit with the longest monsoon summer season in 7 years, with now 42 consecutive days of heavy raining leading to major flooding and landslides. As of today, 14 people have died and 1,500 are displaced from homes. On top of COVID-19, the country now has to mobilize disaster relief efforts for the impacted citizens and many high earning K-stars have been donating to help. The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association released the names thanking many celebrities for donating including Yoo Jae Suk, Park Seo Joon, Song Joong Ki, Yoo In Na, Kim Woo Bin, Shin Mina, and many more. A lot of donating celebs are singers, variety show stars and broadcasters as well. This is just one major organization and many celebs donate quietly to other charitable groups so overall South Korean stars continue to steadily giving back.

      • Yeah, according to Korean news report, she donated KRW20 million. I don’t know if it is really that huge but I applaud her for being a donation at such a young age.

        Her Netflix pay for LA must be really huge because she barely have any activities this year aside LA. So, congrats to her!

      I know we have several months more left but yeah, I just want to see her as some of us know that due to the Covid19, her public appearance events also got canceled..?

      • Many are speculating it is the Hong Chun Gi drama with AHS because of some hints in her IG posts. Anyways, I am sucker of any Kim So Hyun drama.
