Park Shin Hye Goes From Apocalyptic Future to Preventing it with Jo Seung Woo in New Teasers and Stills for jTBC Drama Sisyphus: The Myth

We’re turning the corner into February 2021 so that means upcoming jTBC drama Sisyphus: The Myth premieres in two weeks on the 17th. New posters and teasers are out and this drama production is really dropping tons of goodies for eager fans anticipating this series. From watching television shows and movies (too much) and reading mangas (even more), this drama takes a lot of prior tropes and will hopefully mash it together with a fresh twists. Seeing Park Shin Hye walking through an apocalyptic wildlife overgrown Myeongdong, Seoul echoes I am Legend, and more recently Alice in Borderland though Tokyo hadn’t yet gotten as fully consumed by nature. I’m more curious as to what Jo Seung Woo does/can do/will do that triggers the end of world so to speak, and why wouldn’t everyone be trying to stop it and yet it seems like Park Shin Hye is battling for her life as she tries to protect him.

  2. Honestly, this is the February drama that I look forward to the most, followed perhaps by Vincenzo.
I am afraid of logical failures because I could not avoid seeing a cell phone from this time very well cared for in a post apocalyptic world, where I do not know if energy is a permanent service.
I still like everything that is released and how the characters in the trailers seem to be one personality one moment and another the next.
It seemed that PSH was only going to throw fists but that last one pointed out a quite different girl, that’s good since they have an actress whose essence is to be cheerful and who despite being 30 years old fits easily with a much younger girl, CSW He also seemed to be a naive boy at first but it seems that he is deeper than I initially imagined.

  3. PSH getting much and much better roles. I wasn’t paying too much attention on her not until I watch her latest movie, her acting there was really on a different level. This will probably my next favorite modern action after vagabond (except its ending grr) so I hope the ending would not be a cliffhanger lol because I am not a fan of multiple seasons.

    • @mizz

Vagabond was so frustrating with its ending especially since there won’t be season 2.

I doubt this drama will have a season 2 since it was pre-produced, at least I hope haha

      • But isn’t vagabond also pre-produced? Seasons in kdramas has been a trend nowadays, and most actually commit to it if the ratings are high. As for sisyphus, yeah it will most likely not follow the same path because I read they have already wrapped filming.
