The two-part (so far) fantasy K-movies Along With the Gods broke box office records and is among my personal faves for how well it adapted the expansive source manhwa into a thrilling big screen romp. The director’s next film is confirmed to be The Moon, trading fantasy for sci-fi and feels a bit like Gravity. The male leads are D.O. as a man lost in space and veteran Sol Kyung Gu as a man on earth trying to rescue him. Joining them is Kim Hee Ae as the head of the NASA Space Station who plays a pivotal role in the rescue. I love this cast so much! D.O. really has gotten love from the director who is also working with him as the main lead in the upcoming third installment of Along With the Gods as well.

I like DO in 100 Days My Prince and Hello Monster. Welcome back my cute penguin. Going to earmark this movie. Hope it goes straight to Netflix like Space Sweeper. Space movie seems to be the trend 2021. Veteran actor Sol Kyung Gu he has such a long and illustrious career in chungmuro-land. Just saw his name popped up in twitter for sending a coffee truck to support the Doom At Your Service cast. Interesting connection.
