Park Hae Joon Parlays Success as Douchebag Husband in The World of the Married into K-remake of Money Heist and Headlining Career First Rom-com Drama

I think Park Hae Joon is a great actor, one of the best character actors in his generation considering I always remember his roles more than him as an actor. But goodness does he have “resting jerk face” and none moreso than in last year’s biggest drama hit The World of the Married. I’m glad he’s not typecasting himself anymore now that he’s broken up because 2021 will see him in two different dramas. He’s taking over Lee Hee Joon’s role in the upcoming K-drama remake of Money Heist after delays led to schedule conflicts, and it’s really an equivalent swap if you ask me. Park Hae Joon will also be the male lead in an upcoming rom-com, and his first comedy role so yay for that! It’s called Haven’t Tried My Best and is about an aspiring manhwa artist who has meandered through life and we watch him encounter new comedic situations in his middle age. It will air on jTBC by the PD of Yona’s Street.

  2. Um, I think one of the pictures in this post (the guy in brown) is of Park Hae Soo, the male lead from Prison Playbook, right?
