Seohyun and Lee Jun Young Wraps Filming on Netflix Movie Adaptation of S&M Themed Webtoon Moral Sense

Hhhhmmmm, this projects sounds a whole lot more interesting for me after I chanced upon the male lead recently in another drama. The Netflix produced movie adaptation of webtoon Moral Sense has wrapped filming and I’m guessing we could even see it by year end. It stars two idol-actors in Seohyun of SNSD and Lee Jun Young (Jun) of U-KISS who I recently had the interesting pleasure of watching on KBS idol drama Imitation. That drama is so wack I can’t even, and it starts from the very poorly cast choice of female lead Jung Ji So who is a wonderfully talented actress but was GODAWFUL here with the awkward wig, awkward idol-ing, and general awkward everything. The drama was itself a hot mess but male lead Lee Jun Young was the sole redeeming quality, so in revisiting his casting in Moral Sense from a few months ago when I wrote about it, now there is a performance to attach to a name and me likes. Moral Sense has him playing an uptight office worker Lee Ji Hoo with a penchant for S&M in his personal life who starts a dominant-submission cosplay with his office coworker Lee Ji Woo played by Seohyun after his dog leash ordered online is mistakenly delivered to her since they have very similar names. I’m glad this project is getting the Netflix treatment and will be short and sweet as a movie rather than a full drama, it’ll be interesting to see how the movie approaches the risque topic and how the two leads make it both entertaining and sexy./romantic at the same time.

  3. I agree about the FL in Imitation. For once, choosing an idol for a main role would have been the best choice, but they chose an actress who doesn’t look like an idol, who looks awkward when she dances and had no chemistry with the ML. The script was too slow and one episode by week didn’t help. They dragged Eun-Jo’s story too. There were some good moments but they could have done better.

  4. As for seohyun whi branched to be full actor, she needs to prove herself. Good luck on that; i hope she is working hard in her talent and acting.

  5. Hahaha, if you like this kind of story, you can check out this funny Jdorama called This Guy Is The Biggest Mistake of My Life…
