Kim Young Dae Lands Cover and Pictorial in Chinese Magazine Pievision August 2021 Edition

Whenever this is a well assembled high school K-drama I’m always on the lookout for the future stars of acting to come from the rising teens and young adults. 2019 drama Extraordinary You had three male leads catch the eye of casting directors and the jury is still out on whether Ro Woon, Lee Jae Wook, or Kim Young Dae will be the bigger male lead star in the longer term future. The former two have had their male lead turns already though nothing super buzzy but Kim Young Dae has stayed firmly in the second male lead to supporting lead roles and it feels intentional like he’s still building up his resume and wanting to wait for the right project to step up rather than the first available project. He’s studied in China before and speaks relatively fluent Chinese so he does have a leg up with the C-fans, and this month he’s in the pages and cover of Pievision Magazine looking very cool and confident.

  3. I’ts nice to see him being more famous 🙂

KYD started late his acting career compared to Rowoon and LJW. It started around the same time than LJW but the last one is younger and got more important roles sooner. Jung Gun-Joo is pursuing his career in nice second roles too.

I wonder what LJW is doing since he changed his agency, the Hong sisters drama got issue the FL, so I wonder what will happen.

  4. Bland. But lucky for him, he’s a dude. So he’ll have scores of fangirls hyping him up or rushing to defend him from criticism. Good for him.

  5. He has such great bone structure and he is so FINE to me ugh!!! First time in a long while I’ve thought that about a “younger” Korean male celebrity.

I agree he can’t act and shouldn’t be close to getting lead roles anywhere yet but I do want to continue seeing him on my screen.

  6. Oookay, I guess we can’t all be of the same opinion but his facial acting is all I live for. Maybe not a lead material yet but he’s not so bland like some actors..
