Song Kang and Park Min Young Actually Look Good Together For the First Time in Netflix Pictorial Promoting jTBC Romance Forecasting Love and Weather

The bar was set so low for the pairing of younger actor Song Kang and noona actress Park Min Young that the positive premiere ratings for jTBC drama Forecasting Love and Weather must’ve been a relief for the network and their fans. It is also good news for Netflix which has the streaming rights and the platform released a set of promotional stills featuring the two leads today that should have been the way to kick off this drama teaser from the get go. Song Kang looks young but not mega baby-faced and actually pairs well visually with Park Min Young here, especially with his super tall height just towering over her.

  2. because these pics are ps’d to hell and back. pmy looks aged drastically in the drama itself which isn’t a bad thing but paired with baby faced song kang it’s jarring

  3. I believe they have great chemistry but then again Mrs. Park have great chemistry with all her partners she work with. Song kang have awesome visuals as well looking forward this drama and hopefully the writers get more action, maybe a little fun parts. The script for the first episode was kind of slow but starting to pickup in the 2nd episode.

      • It’s true though they are heavily air brushed. I am starting to wonder how realistic this korean ent world is. I also feel like it’s not fair to see people like them always getting roles to play but some people who are very talented get no where. Plus I did find it weird their kissing scene she’s so many years older than him it just didn’t seem right. Not only this I’ve noticed how dirty their dramas are getting. 10 years ago the script story was the centre of the drama but now it’s all about looking good showing off their surgeries and do believe it’s all about making money their is no passion in acting left anymore. How many office dramas are we going to get is this the new trend. Why is Song Kang getting so many dramas wit his awkward acting???? I do believe there a dark side of getting dramas role in this industry if you know what I mean wink wink my opinion I’m entitled to it…..

    • Well the source material that the show is based on has a 7 year gap between. I was super worried cos initial teasers look more like 10 between them due to styling but the show has completely stolen my heart. Good writing and the unexpected chemistry worked … now i am happy with my weekend binges

    • Obviously they cast pmy there because of the intention that the FL lead is really older than him I don’t know why everyone talking like she’s like an older sister and ofcourse she is,why mind telling that over and over? To ease the bitterness? LOL

  5. True, but it’s normal, she is 8 years older than him . And i like the fact that she looks more older in this drama than in the previous one . It makes her look more human . In the last photo she made me think of Han Chae Young .

    • Why don’t you watch her in their live interview? She’s younger looking compared to the series makes her mature because she’s serious there everyone who made them face serious looks more matured compared when they are always smiling

  6. Some of these comments make clear why noona romances are a romantic triumph of love over societal norms! Lee Jun Ki and IU have a similar age gap and LJK’s looks and age didn’t get this kind of laser focus when they were paired together. I think LJK is stunning for the record… and I think Park Min Young is stunning too, and Song Kang would be lucky to get her. He’s not too shabby himself, I think they have good chemistry, and I’m enjoying the show so far though it’s early days. He’s meant to be younger and that’s obviously part of the story—that he’s confident enough, in the way her previous guy wasn’t, to not mind her being successful or older or high-powered. Which makes him look good! And they both look good in these pictures.

  7. This haircut suits him better than the one he has in the drama that makes him looking younger.

I like noona romance but the ML needs to bring something to the FL that will make sense for her to choose him. Now the ML is just an innocent and energic puppy.

  8. I think SK is doing fine in this drama. PMY is always good and during the discovery of the cheating scene, a reminder of how good she is in melos. I know everyone is dissing SK’s styling in this drama but I assume it is based on the source material and the drama is not hiding the age difference which seems to be what some viewers want.

I’m sticking around for another week.

  9. Bruh needs some facial hair. I know that’s a no-no in these K-dramas but it would age my fave Song Kang nicely. He’s still sexy,I almost fell out of my chair the way he threw his pants over his shoulder in triumph after their romp in the sack in episode 2 (his “make-a-move” was in episode 2 in Nevertheless also!) I can’t wait to see him in something that brings out his dark side… c’mon Netflix, it’s in him! In the meantime, let the man have facial hair please, a little stubble is ultra sexy!

  10. What’s wrong with u people? Is it a crime for a FL to be older than a ML. Y’all wouldn’t be typing these replies if it was the other way round. It just shows how misogynistic and ageist y’all are. It’s just pathetic ?

    • Exactly. I don’t find the age differences as weird or something to be agonized about. My mum is married (2nd marriage) to a man 12 years her junior. A 45 year old acquaintance of mine is married to a guy 15 years younger than her. Lots of female these days are either married or in a committed relationship with much younger men. I enjoyed the pairing, I never for once thought about the age gaps at all because my central focus is on the story line. SK is surprisingly delightful here. I like his character, a young man with a passion and utmost dedication to his job, his new found respect and admiration to PMY’s character, he’s not coy, completely honest and at ease about his feelings the night after their romps. He’s respectful, gentle and reliable. I can’t wait for the next episode.
