Episode 10 of A Business Proposal Stays at 11.6% Ratings Complete with Double Date Cuteness and Impending Grandpa Hammer of Objection

I can’t believe there is only two more episodes left of A Business Proposal! Next week is the finale already and the fantastic sharp pacing of this drama is because of it’s shorter 12-episode length but then it leaves fans like me sad to see it end so soon. Episode 10 was wonderful in every way – the car chase, the orphanage double date, the hiding from the parents, the brother encounter, and of course all the impending signs that Grandpa is not going to be happy letting Tae Mu date Ha Ri. I don’t worry much because he’s not really that unreasonable and loves Tae Mu to pieces so it feels like just the obligatory family disapproval that will be overcome easily. So that leaves viewers plenty of time to just enjoy all the great scenes in this drama and this episode also delivered the satisfying smack down of the bitchy and selfish girlfriend of Min Woo and also letting him know what a horrible judge of character he was to pick her to have a crush on over Ha Ri when they were in college together. But who cares because Tae Mu is a billion percent better and I am so just happy to see all four leads dating happily (for now).

  2. Honestly, AHS is such a letdown because the plot is good, like I love the scene but I just get out of the scene because of him. I wish I am a Kdrama newbie so it doesn’t really bother me but the way he enunciated his line is robotic, has no actual structure and why why this has to happen when the drama is good.

The drama is alright but I really like the plot.

  3. AHS should have had an acting coach to help form and bring to life Tae Mu. His characterization of Tae Mu ended up being robotic in most scenes. Also, the “hiding from the parents” scene was very similar to WWWSK, with PSJ hiding in the closet and being totally funny in that scene. I think AHS was trying to channel PSJ’s acting but it came out half-baked. Anyways, I still enjoy the drama and happy for the 4 leads’ success, especially for the 2 FLs who had such great chemistry and “sismance” — I think the 2 FLs are the main reasons why the drama became more engaging to the audience.

    • Loved the drama at first because of the FL but for me she lost the spark on the later episodes, I found her pretty at first but now she looks ordinary and sometimes overacts. Like her charm wore off so quickly. Is it just me?

    • You know, I thought I was reading too much into it when I felt like he was copying PSJ’s acting, but it really feels like it in a lot of scenes. I know actors like to draw inspiration from others, but he’s been coming off as a poor knock off of Lee Young Joon for me. I do really enjoy the friendship of the two girls. I also still love grandpa even though I know he’s going to be an obstacle next week.

      • Same. I think PSJ’s LYJ was endearing because there were nuances like a squint, a side glance, an eye brow raised, a smirk, swagger when delivering his lines. Here it looks like AHS was just delivering lines ala-LYJ and that’s about it, the rest of his body is not committed to the role lol. I do wish him well since I generally like him as a personality, so I hope he and his team can find tools for him to improve his craft. I watched a show where Namkoong Min goes to a voice coach and acting coach even in his off days, no wonder he’s a great actor.

  4. Kim se Jeong is going to hit big with this drama
    She was amazing and natural
In love with her ha ri character
She reminded me of go hye sun and gong hyo jin
    She has miles to go
She has proved with ABP that she is here to rule kdrama

  5. Loved the drama at first because of the FL but for now I me she lost the spark on the later episodes, I found her pretty at first but now she looks ordinary and sometimes overacts. Like her charm wore off so quickly. Is it just me?

    • Are you that bothered by her you needed to repeat this comment twice? Well… she still sparkles for me. Strong all rounder. Great in comedy, outstanding in her emotional scenes. Her cockroach assassination was gilarious and the hug without words was emotional. I think I will need alot of kleenex next week. When Sejeong cries with those big expressive eyes, I bawl.. thats how much i adore her x

  6. AHS just scored the ML role in remake of TW drama Some Day. FL is Jeon Yeo Been while Kang Hoon of Red Sleeve is the SL. This must be hard for those who dislikes watching AHS’s acting.

    • I’ve been a big complainer (nothing to be proud of, I know) of his acting since a business proposal started airing. However, I think the ML role in the Some Day remake might be better suited for him. Someone young, sweet, energetic and charming. He probably just has to channel his inner self. He was totally acceptable in Still 30. He’ll probably still not deliver well with the emotional scenes, but lets face it, no one believe AHS is a commanding CEO lol

  7. For me, compare to first half episode where AHS has some confident in his acting and oozing charisma, in recent episode, seems like his confidence regress, and the performances less convincing. It’s really take me out of the drama at times, because it seems KTM switch to become a different character in the last 2 episode, is it just me?

and the directing also less convincing. I’m less enjoying the drama. but Hari and Tae Moo moment is so good and sweet though… And Seol In Ah, is getting better too.

    .

  8. I wish for a second season with the same cast!!!

So sad to know that episode 12 is the last episode.

Love all the actors. Super romantic and hilarious

  9. LOL. Why are there so many hate comments on AHS? If you don’t like him, stop watching. If you think the drama lost its charm because of this or that, all you need to do is drop the drama right now and stop caring about it. Don’t even talk abt it ?

There are many people who loves the drama and will continue to love it despite all your protests, lol. I think AHS was charming in portraying Taemu and I honestly didn’t like him until ABP.

No matter what negative comments you throw at ABP, it will continue to be the happy pill drama for many viewers! ?
