The actor and actress agency move is basically a lesser version of the off-season sign and trade racket of the NBA, of which is always so juicy it sizzles up the doldrums of summer to follow along. For K-stars, the agency swaps happen all year round usually when their contract is about to expire, and fans always think its the right move to change agencies but hard to predict whether the next one chosen is a good fit. Kim Ji Won parted ways with her prior agency SALT Entertainment earlier this summer after signing there in 2020. Since SALT got her the most recent critically beloved drama My Liberation Notes one could say it did right by her. But she’s moving on and K-ent is reporting that she’s in talks to join HIStory D&C, which reps Song Joong Ki her former costar from Arthdal Chronicles. It’s a new-ish agency Song Joong Ki founded with a production agency director who worked on Nice Guy with him. Song Joong Ki has been accumulating prior costars to his agency with former Vincenzo supporting actors Yang Kyung Won and Lim Chul Soo.
