Well do these two look fantastic together onscreen! The first official promos are here for Youku modern romance slice-of-life drama Hidden Love starring Chen Zhe Yuan and Zhao Lu Si. She was filming it from late spring to early summer of this year and the promos capture the lush greenery of a city in bloom and uses the colors of green and city grey very effectively. In the drama, Zhao Lu Si plays a high school student who develops on crush on her older brother’s classmate (and vice-versa) but nothing happens, and years later she goes to college in a city where he’s living and slowly their relationship turns to romance. It sounds completely sweet and innocent and no rocks fall down obstacles in sight haha. It’s nice to see Zhao Lu Si continuing to swap up her drama roles (genres and periods) and I am curious to check out Chen Zhe Yuan who debuted around the same time as her, in 2017 I recall, and has slowly worked his way up to male lead but if reports are true that he’s the male lead opposite Crystal Liu in the high profile C-drama Chang Ling in 2023 then he’s definitively on the cusp of a major breakout.

The drama hasnt finish filming cause her fans post updates of her at filming site. But the production team is actively promoting the drama already. The novel was an easy read. FL character is a lil pampered, smart and has eyes only for one person. CZY had good chemostry with SMJ in Our Secret. His other drama with Shen Yue will be dropping soon
Whoa! Crazy me, I remembere him now. He is the ML in Our Secrets / Secrets in the Lattice. Well he ain’t that super good looking at least for me when I watched SitL, or its the charisma, he didn’t have that for me but it was years ago so maybe he gets matured and get more good looking. Yup, he has upcoming drama with Shen Yue. What I was surprised is his height, he became taller.

The novel was good eventho got boring at some chapters near the ending. The first half was pretty good, really… but so typical when they started dating.
But of course, im waiting for the drama adaptation. Good looking people are always good together lol.
This actress is always beautiful whoever her ML. I can say she looks so good in HS uniform. And the ML is good looking also and tall, concludingly – hot and yummy. 😝I think this drama will have a visual explosions since both are good looking and eye candies, who would not want to watch with good looking leads.

Wow…how can this girl manage her changing characters and be the best out of that from drama to drama??? She is one of the best one….she need to be as a drama goddess 😀 Love her!
