Video Preview for Episode 7 of Best Love

How refreshing is it for me to watch two people talk about why they like or can’t like each other, and perhaps try to work through their emotional bottlenecks together. Ae Jung really is the only person Jin can talk to about his confusion and feelings, but she’s also becoming perhaps his one true confidante. She wants nothing from him, and he will discover that the way to her heart isn’t being Dokko Jin the movie star but by showing her the vulnerability of Dokko Jin the man who found his first love at 37. I cannot wait for episode 7 of Best Love. Continue reading

Kang Ji Hwan is Cosmopolitan Korea’s Man of the Month

Kang Ji Hwan, currently starring in the I-pray-it-will-miraculously-get-better Lie to Me, was featured in the June issue Cosmopolitan Korea magazine. I love these pictures, cool and moody without being too edgy or posed. I can’t MINE him since like half the bloggy world is in a MINE-detente about him, but I can stare all I want, which isn’t hard to do when he continues to look better and better with age. Rawr indeed. Four Top Models and a Kim Jae Wook in the June Edition of Elle Korea Magazine

Do you see the Top Models? I don’t. All I see when I look at these photos from the June edition of Elle Korea are Kim Jae Wook. I think there are leggy ladies in the pictures with him, but I can’t pry my eyes away from him to confirm that. Kim Jae Wook attended a book release for the just-published fashion tome Top Model, which chronicles the high fashion industry in Korea. The same models who were featured in the book have been photographed with Kim Jae Wook for Elle Korea, and I’m not just fangirling when I say he’s the prettiest model in all the stills. I need him back on my TV screen sooner rather than later. Continue reading

Written Preview for Best Love Episode 7

Best Love appears to be upending the traditional rom-com love development. Rather than have the angst be about the couple not knowing or denying their feelings for each other, here all the feelings are pretty much laid out in the open, but we’re getting boatloads of angst that is going to hurt so bad. I’m so invested in this drama it’s not even funny. What’s worse is knowing that even if the OTP gets together, there is still an entire world of people wanting to break them up. This is not good for my sanity. Continue reading

First Stills of Ariel Lin and Bolin Chen in In Time With You

After a month of filming, GTV finally released the first official stills of Ariel Lin and Bolin Chen in the upcoming TW-drama In Time With You. This has been a very low-key production for various reasons, one of which has to be all the media swarming over to currrently filming Extravagant Challenge. The low-key vibe suits everyone at ITWY just fine, as sometimes more mystery whets the appetite. Ariel looks luminous and gorgeous, and Bolin is starting to grow on me. ITWY doesn’t have an airdate yet, but hopefully it’ll be picked up soon after it finishes filming so that I can see Ariel back onscreen sooner rather than later. Rainie Yang and Joseph Chang Attend Drunken to Love You Fan Meeting

Seriously, if these two people got any cuter as a couple I might actually fursplode into a real Koala simply by staring at them, the way Jacob goes all wolfy in the novels-which-shant-be-named. Rainie Yang and Joseph Chang attended a Drunken to Love You fan meeting at Taipei’s Mitsukoshi department store this weekend, showing up wearing a couple’s outfit, which they claimed to have completely not coordinated at all.

I actually believe them, because I never once think they are dating in real life, plus Joseph has a long-time girlfriend of over five years. It’s just adorable to ship them as Jie Xiu and Xiao Ru. Yen J‘s album dropped over the weekend, so I’m also bringing you the download link for the second song from his album which shows up in the DTLY OST called “It’s not like this will take away the loneliness” 又不是這樣就不孤獨.  Continue reading
