Decent Long Preview With a Side of More Crappy Posters for Sageuk A King Loves with Im Shi Wan, Yoona, and Hong Jong Hyun

It’s a relief to finally have a positive response to a promo from upcoming MBC sageuk A King Loves, too bad the network nearly negated it with another dose of terrible visuals. The cast held a press conference last week with leads Im Shi Wan, Yoona, and Hong Jong Hyun, releasing a long 4-minute preview that was unexpectedly intriguing. Im Shi Wan actually inspires interest in his take as a crown prince who looks and sounds gentlemanly but is wholly his father’s child in asserting his power.

I sorta assume he’ll be the half-antagonist male lead type, while second male lead Hong Jong Hyun may win hearts early on but eventually the king will rally audiences to root for his love of Yoona’s female lead that gets between two best friends and maybe even the future of the nation. Unfortunately the solid long preview came with a side of two additional awful drama posters, the one above is like two uncomfortable mannequins turned facing each other and makes me want to turn this into a PS battle to see if anyone can photo shop better posters for this drama.
