With jTBC Fri-Sat night drama Sky Castle ending with sky high ratings, this week the time slot will be taken over by the K-drama adaptation of hit J-dorama Legal High. Starring Jin Goo, Seo Eun Soo, Chae Jung Ahn, and Yoon Park, the the original drama had that flair for theatrics and Japanese quirky aura that I’m seeing from the K-version in a good way. Jin Goo has the most hilarious facial expressions and Seo Eun Soo plays the straight (wo)man who takes no prisoners in her quest for legal truth. There’s also an added bonus to see veteran grandpa Lee Soon Jae as the law firm senior partner, love seeing the twinkle in his eye and curious how he’ll spar with Jin Goo along the way.
