Jang Dong Yoon, Kam Woo Sung, and Lee Yoo Bi Confirmed for Sageuk Joseon Exorcist with Park Sung Hoon Playing the Big Bad

Yay, a legit big budget action and palace intrigue saguek to look forward to in 2021, with a dash of fantasy. The casting for Joseon Exorcist has been firmed up and my #1 excitement is seeing Jang Dong Yoon return to wearing sageuk garb. He will play a Joseon prince battling another Joseon prince played by Park Sung Hoon who has decided to enlist the help of demons and monsters to help him gain the throne. Rounding out the cast is veteran Kim Woo Sung as the King who sealed the evil spirit when he helped his father start the new country but is now back to trying to contain it. Younger leads include Kim Dong Joon and Jung Hye Sung, with Lee Yoo Bi as the female lead. I sure hope this drama is better than the stupid as all out Joseon monster trying to rule the kingdom aspect of Tale of Gumiho. Can’t wait!
