K-actor Song Joong Ki has a new sidekick for the upcoming K-movie Bogota and it’s none other than Jo Hyun Chul who has been doing memorable turns in small and now medium supporting roles in tvN dramas. He was the programmer in Memories of Alhambra supporting Binnie from the command center in Seoul and presently the patient and kind hyung to Yeo Jin Gu in Hotel Del Luna. God, I hope he doesn’t die and end up visiting Del Luna as a ghost, sobs. Anyhoo, back to Bogota, as the movie name suggests its set in the capital city of Colombia but in the 1990’s as it tells the story of a South Korean man’s immigration there and running a market store. That’s all the synopsis we have, and also in talks is actor Ryu Seung Bum who usually picks indie fare so my guess is this movie is less action and more dramatic fare.
