CJ E&M Halts Filming for One Week on All Shows Including Dramas Flower of Evil and Missing: The Other Side

If there are enough footage in the can then maybe a week off from filming will not result in episode pre-emptions in the coming weeks but we should get ready for some breaks in our currently airing fave dramas. Due to a spike again in COVID-19 in South Korea, a handful of dramas earlier in the week have already announced stoppage in production, some even due to staff or cast testing positive or being in contact with someone who tested positive. Now it’s just being done out of an abundance of caution, CJ E&M has announced that all its shows and dramas will stop filming for the entire last week of August from the 24th to the 31st. That will impact Flower of Evil and Missing: The Other Side, while Secret Forest 2 (Stranger 2) and Record of Youth have all finished filming. I don’t know if Record will hold a press conference next week which was supposed to be Park Bo Gum‘s last event before he enlists. Let’s hope the government does a good job of containing this latest resurgence.
