This is a very timely and nice cameo appearance with lots of synergy to spare. Former drama costars Lee Min Ki and Jung So Min will be making a guest starring appearance in hit tvN rom-com Why Secretary Kim, with the connection being the two worked with Secretary Kim PD who directed their also hit rom-com last year This Life is Our First (Because This is Our First Life). I say the cameo is a timely move because both Lee Min Ki and Jung So Min have respective upcoming dramas this year and this is a good publicity move – he’s the male lead opposite Seo Hyun Jin in the K-version of body-morphing movie The Beauty Inside while she’s going full dark twisty melodrama in the K-remake of Japanese dorama A Million Stars Falling From the Sky with Seo In Guk. Both Jung So Min and Lee Min Ki have filmed their cameo in Secretary Kim and it will air soon.
