Basic House in China released some new stills from its Spring 2011 catalogue featuring Moon Geun Yong, and these not yet seen pictures are just the breath of fresh air I needed. In real life she’s already lobbed off her long hair into a short boyish bob, which seems to be the Spring trend this year. I also have some updates on Jang Geun Seok‘s latest activities at this end of this post.
The other Geun I adore, Jang Geun Seok, was just in Budapest for work, and is gearing up for the sale of his first solo album in Japan next week. News broke yesterday that he donated ten million yen to Japan for earthquake relief efforts, which I find fitting and meaningful since he’s been working in Japan frequently in the recent years. I’m sure plenty of stars have donated money for Japan earthquake relief, so my posting about Jang Geun Seok is purely because I follow his news, and not as a validation of his charitable work vis-à-vis anyone else.

I was so sad to see that she'd lopped off her hair. Not everyone can have such gorgeous masses of hair, and I think she looks loveliest with long hair.

I love Mango and Zara too, but right now I am still very envious of Kim Tae Hee's wardrobe in My Princess. Those shoes and some of the dresses were pure beautiful, I was just WOW. I wish I could buy them!

MGY is simply beautiful, sweet and adorable. I hope we can see her on screen again soon (preferably with JGS of course).
Seeing MGY in these pics makes me remember her long locks of hair which for me suited her best but maybe her sporting the bob cut is a way for her to have a new mature look & shed-out her "nation's little sister" image.
On the other side, JGS donating to Japan Red Cross is a very nice gesture of him in giving back what his Japanese Eels have given to him in these recent years.
