Dammit, no fair KBS! I had minimal interest in this drama, so why’d you have to go and make such an effervescent and cute teaser trailer and get me all snapping my fingers and tapping my toes to the beat? The first trailer for the upcoming Mon-Tues drama Baby-faced Beauty with Jang Nara and Daniel Choi is out. And the trailer is Adorable, with a capital A. I love the use of stop-motion, the upbeat score that reminds me of laughter and being goofy, and the general cuteness of all the character’s little tics.
While a cute trailer is in no way indicative of the general quality of any drama, at least the drama brought me 53 seconds worth of enjoyment, and for that I am content. I must say that I really, really like the ubiquitous short-hair cut on Jang Nara (whereas am meh about it on Sung Yuri, and just okay about it on Gong Hyo Jin). And for once I didn’t see a single hammy expression from Jang Nara (Daniel, though, appears to be hamming up a storm). The drama premieres on May 2, 2011.

Not bad, but I think I'll need more than 53 seconds to be bought. On another note, Daniel Choi looks so much like Lee Min Ki. The two could be brothers in a drama=) LMK needs to get on that.

i have to (and hate to!) disagree with you Madame Koala- that haircut on jang nara looks ATROCIOUS. sung yuri's is ADORABLE. and gong hyo jin's is STYLISHLY SLOPPY.
jang nara's character is trying to look young--25--but instead looks 5. well, she's rocking a 5 year old's hairdo, that's for sure. no way would i sport that 'do at 25... unless someone gave me hyun bin and a million dollars.
Now, that's what I call a cute trailer. Who ever was behind this is a freaking genius.
Apart from the stop-motion, the song got my attention. I've got high hopes for the drama now if Electric Light Orchestra is being used! ;) Okay, at least high hopes for the OST, but the teaser is very good.
