Taiwan is the place to be right now, IMO, with four different idol dramas concurrently filming that I’m really looking forward to. One of them being Extravagant Challenge with Super Junior’s Lee Donghae and Choi Siwon paired with Ivy Chen in the drama-adaptation of the popular manga Skip Beat.
Ivy was photographed wearing a chicken suit yesterday on the set with her two male leads. She goofed around with Siwon and Donghae between takes, confessing that it was really hot and heavy wearing that ginormous chicken suit. If you’ve read Skip Beat, you’ll know exactly what the the outfit is for.
We also get a first look at Ivy in her bright pink Love Me uniform, which is as horrendous in real life as I imagined it to be when I read the manga. EC is in the thick of filming and won’t be live-aired, so I expect a premiere date at the end of the year, if not in early 2012.

I knew Chen was petite, but next to those guys, she's a teeny little thing! Ahh, doesn't matter. I adore her, so I'd probably watch her reading a grocery list if that were my only option.
Aren't both of her male leads Korean? Do you know if they learned Mandarin for the series, or are they going to be dubbed?
Both Donghae and Siwon already speak some passable Mandarin, but I think they will end up being dubbed.

D-Addicts says she is 1.63 cm, which is about 5' 4". I looked this up because she looks tinier than me, but according to other sources (e.g. Baidu Baike), she's actually taller (than me, that is). Is this how I would look standing next to Siwon and Donghae?

Very excited for it, Skip Beat is pretty much the only shojo manga that I follow closely. She should have died her hair a lighter colour though. But hey, thats just me being petty :p
She IS short but it is the same in the manga where Kyoko is shorter than both Sho and Ren. I guess in real life it stands out more..
I really like Siwon but his hairstyle as Ren makes him look odd for some reason. Anyhow, they look good. I agree about that pink uniform exactly as I pictured in real life except may be I thought it will be a different fabric lol
