Congrats to the cast of Office Girls, with episode 22 finally breaking 6 and hitting 6.50 in ratings! All good things must come to an end, and I’m totally going to be sad to see OG end. The cast held a final fan meeting this weekend, which also had two special guests. It’s of course the SETTV traditional Sunday night idol drama baton pass, this time it’s OG’s Roy Qiu and Alice Ke passing their respective bears from their drama to Amber Kuo and Tony Yang, the leads for the upcoming Love Forward. SETTV used to do more than pass the baton, sometimes even having the OTP from the previous drama guest star in the first episode of the successor drama. The baton handoff didn’t happen between Drunken to Love You and Office Girls, which everyone chalks up to the awkwardness that would ensue should Rainie Yang of DTLY have to get all cozy with her ex-boyfriend Roy. For now, I continue to savor each and every little bit of OG, from the cast cuteness at the fan meeting to the final bits of awesome in the drama itself.
Haha, James Wen! Man, if he didn’t show up at this fan meeting, I’d have completely forgotten he was even in OG. Such a pointless secondary male character, albeit not terribly offensive or annoying.
Roy, sigh, so handsome. He must be thrilled having agreed to do OG, despite the fact that on the surface it didn’t seem like a potential big hit. Roy was just fulfilling the last of his three SETTV drama contractual obligations, and it’s turned into a revival of his career in Taiwan.
Roy and Amber have actually worked together before, in the wacky and weird Woody Sambo. During the promotional circuit for OG last August, Roy revealed to the media that he had a crush on a TW-actress that he’s worked together before. She was of the cute variety. Of course he could be just teasing to drum up interest, but the media ran with it and narrowed down the possible candidate to Amber herself. LOL, it must be hilariously cute for Amber’s drama to be following Roy’s.
This sounds like a prestige series so makes even more sense that the female lead…

I don't know where to get them online, but the brown-coloured bear is called Rilakkuma and the cream-coloured bear is called Korilakkuma. Hope that makes your search a little easier ^^

I will miss OG although I haven't been following weekly anymore... i am going to marathon from ep 16 til the end. I was just really happy to see Roy in another tw drama... it's been awhile - and looking so fine. For that, OG was worth it.
i don't want to say bye to my Zi Qi and Xing Ren yet. =(
